Metalheads of the Day: Beavis and Butt-head

I'm pleasantly surprised with how uproarious the new Beavis and Butt-head season has been. Despite the presence of Mike Judge, I didn't think that the show could thrive in a universe with YouTube and Jersey Shore. It turns out that old Beavis and Butt-head are almost as timeless as the bands on their t-shirts.

Even when slinging at easy targets, B & B are two of the world's funniest pop culture critics--Mystery Science Theater for the MTV world. The fact that they can infiltrate the wasteland formerly known as Music Television with sardonic wit and cracks at the channel's top shows makes their success all the more astonishing. The team's inquisition of an idiotic dubstep music video is all I can think of as Skrillex racks up press, Grammys and chart positions.

Yes, Beavis, the emperor has no clothes.

Their reactions to "It's So Cold in the D" have me in stitches.

Great to have you back, gentlemen. Rock on.
